"I've mastered the Layer-By-Layer method, what next?"
Well, first off congratulations on mastering the Layer-by-Layer method, keep in mind only a small percentage of the world can even solve a Rubik's cube!
Now is the hard part, you need to make a choice. You can either learn the Fridrich method, or the Petrus method. (There are SEVERAL other methods, but they are very advanced and require previous knowledge)
The Fridrich Method
The Fridrich method is for those of you who LOVE to follow algortithms, if learning and mastering each of the 7 algorithms for the LBL method was fun for you, then learning the over 100 algorithms for the Fridrich method should be a blast! I am not trying to dissuade you from the Fridrich method, but to master it you will need to learn over 100 algorithms.
The Petrus method
While this method is less popular, it is very fun and can be completed with only a few algorithms, this method involves thinking logically and using your own brainpower to figure out "block building", this method does take quite a bit of getting used to but once you have practiced it a bit, and you start to understand it you will be able to solve it very quickly using this method.
These are the main two major methods, there are several other methods but to be bluntly honest I do not know enough about them to write a guide on them!
Now make your choice young cuber, and evolve from a cubing newb to an uber cuber!
